Traffic lights will be set to flashing at the intersection of Chanate Road and Belvedere Way

Please note that traffic lights will be set to flashing at the intersection of Chanate Road and Belvedere Way at Humboldt Street on Wednesday, January 20 through Friday, January 22 and on Monday, January 25 from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm. Setting the traffic lights to flashing red as part of the approved traffic control plan is the most efficient way to facilitate traffic control while performing work within the roadway.

The contractor for the sewer and water improvement project, Team Ghilotti, is continuing potholing (small excavations) to locate existing utilities in the project area. “No Parking” signs continue to be temporarily posted. These temporary parking restrictions allow the contractor access to perform potholing within the parking areas. Hours posted are between 7:30 am-5:30 pm Monday – Friday. These signs are temporary and will be removed once activity is completed. From January 22 through February 5, you may see these parking signs on Plum Drive, Strawberry Drive and Chanate Road (between Mendocino Avenue and Terra Linda Drive). Please drive carefully and watch for warning signs where they are conducting potholing activities.
